We know what its like get back pain and not feel entirely comfortable on your motorcycle, that's why we designed our risers to increase your comfortability while riding without having to tear your bike apart rerouting cables or adding extenders. The Terra Moto Bar Back Risers raise the bars 30mm (1.18") and bring the bars closer to the riser by 25mm (0.98"). This creates a more comfortable riding position sitting down and standing up by allowing the rider to have a more upright posture and not be hunched over the front of the bike thus putting less load on your back and arms. The Bar Back Risers are 100% CNC machined from solid 6061 T6 aluminum here in Southern California. Cable extenders or rerouting the cables is not necessary, to compensate for the added height all you need to do it slightly change where the cables are zip tied to on the chassis.
All new hardware is included; 8x A2 stainless steel Torx cap heads are included for their strength and corrosion resistant properties. The end of the bolts are coated with a Methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) patch which helps insulate the fasteners from vibrations, but unlike traditional thread lockers it won't seize the bolt and require a high breakaway torque or gunk up the threads with dried solution. The MEK patch is also good for 5 uses, so if you want to adjust your bars position the MEK patch will retain its properties. Got a pair of these bar risers to alleviate shoulder pain on long rides for my 1250 GSA. Install was easy as expected. Like the finish as it matches the clamps also liked the torx hardware for an original look. Fitment was spot on and installation was a cinch. For reference I got the 1.37 inch risers nothing fancy needed other than some elevation. Haven’t tried it out on a ride yet but I think it will do the trick. Instructions with torque and sequencing was appreciated.I would definitely recommend these risers for the price and quality, very fast shipping too!
